We’ll continue with more travel updates soon. In the meantime, here’s the recipe we made for Christmas Day. It was a 4-spooner all-around! The best part is that it’s decadent enough for a holiday, but easy enough for any night of the week.
With the beginning of each month, Wine Tourist Magazine launches its latest issue. If you like wine, food and travel I recommend checking out this monthly e-zine. As most of you know, I write the column, “World Platter,” where we try a recipe from the featured wine tourist region of the month. This month is a combination of Australia and Argentina. I’ll leave you with a few images to get your mouth watering….
You can find the recipe for the Macadamia Crusted Beef Tenderloin with Chimichurri Sauce here.
We’ll be back soon with more on our European family sabbatical adventures. Cheers!

My husband and I made this recipe on the weekend and both agreed it was the best meal we’ve had in a very long time – and we usually eat pretty well! Thank you for the recipe – we will certainly be making it again!

I just happen to have some lovely spiced macadamia nuts that were a gift from my dear friend Lorraine of Not Wuite Nigella! What a beautiful dish and full of flavour and texture. I’m off to see the recipe!

Beef looks beautiful, as does the chimichurri sauce . . . .well [ 🙂 ! ] those gorgeous Brussels sprouts [a huge favourite for me!] look awfully overcooked . . . but I know it was not ‘you’!! Yep, think we all want to travel on . . . .
